Its been a long time I've been trying to find a perfect style that suits me. Something unique, hip, but also crazy and wierd to define my personality. Especially as a teenger I find when you are just getting out of puppy dog, and crazy colour clothes phases, but you aren't quite there to be a boring adult with black suits, and pencil skirts. Then I stumbled upon Lykke Li, I had heard her voice in several commercials, and heard about her on indie sites, but she never really caught my attention. It wasn't like love at first sight, but after listning to a few songs her voices starts to grow on you. Although I wouldn't announce that she is my ABSOLUTE fashion, or hair icon,I feel like I owe her some tribute, and I am SOO glad I found her. Thanks Lykke for helping me come out of the closet( not like... you know ;)), I mean helping me realize my style, or at least thanks for being a better inspiration than "17 magazine" and such!!! Am I the only one sick of that crap?
Anyways This video really inspires me, I love how she just breaks out with her little kazoo.! I mean, doesn't it make you want to go out on the streets and sing? ( Even though people on the streets would rather hear cows sing rather thn me, haha). After watching her vids, to me she really is the coolest singer on planet, her personality really shines through.
I mean, really I'm just jealous of her: vivid facial structure, ability to dance with her heart, and wierd songs that portray a sweet, and sad soul. Through my jealousy I learn to just take it in, and watch, it's much more interesting than if I had such talents myself.
It's like she has so many sides to her, you can never find out her true being. She sounds and looks so inocent sometimes, but at other times she goes completely opposite with her badass personality.
